If you find the daily update emails unhelpful or overwhelming, you can limit the type of content included in them from your Account Settings (for example, so you are only notified about comments on your observations).
You can always unsubscribe from the types of emails you don't want to receive.
If you are affiliated with a member of the international iNaturalist Network, we share your email address with that particular collaborating organization. They will only contact you about iNaturalist.
