Each observation records an encounter between the observer and an individual organism. So if you have a photograph of a bee on a flower, you would have to make two different observations if you wanted to make records for each organism.
It's possible to duplicate an observation on the iNaturalist website and in the iNaturalist app for Android devices. It's currently not possible to duplicate an observation with the iNaturalist mobile apps for Apple devices.
