Sometimes, when you replace your own profile picture or the icon or banner of a project, you'll still see the old image you replaced. This is due to two possible reasons:
- The old image is still being cached on iNaturalist's end. This can take up to 15 minutes to clear.
- Your browser is caching the old image. If after 15 minutes you're still seeing the old image after a normal refresh of the page, perform a hard refresh on that page and the new image should appear.
If neither of these solutions work, you can submit a ticket to iNaturalist support.
